The flowers from The Purple Iris were the perfect unique accent to all of the decor. I love a lot of green in floral arrangements and I thought the addition of fern leaves in the bridesmaid bouquets was really unique and beautiful.
I love the personal touches to the unity candles – sand for her family in Florida, Coal for his family in East Tennessee and a blending of the two for their candle together. The wooden winery boxes were a nice rustic touch and the organic nature of the moss made everything feel like it had been brought in straight from a lush garden. In place of the traditional birdseed or flower petals, the couple did a lavender toss at the end of the ceremony which smelled wonderful as it came down!
The woodsy setting for the reception complimented the rustic details beautifully!
The combination of florals, lanterns, and mosses in wooden boxes made for perfect little gardens set into each table and every one was unique.
I also love love love all of the chalk signs set throughout the site. Yet another great rustic detail and the lollipop garden on the kids table was too cute!
I’ve never seen this done for the guestbook before but I thought it was cute and really fitting for the scene.
Isn’t this the most lush looking cake you’ve ever seen??
…and speaking of sweets, I think we all know by now that I’m a sucker for a good candy bar! =)
tree trunk pedestals, bramble and moss lines baskets, and delish local treets = perfection!
It was a beautiful event full of beautiful people!
Lissa and Justin and all of their fabulous vendors – great job! Here’s to YOU! =)
Thanks for looking everyone! =)
